WEEKEND OF ROCK
Hello! This weekend we’re convening on Norwich for two days to write Book Club singles 3 and 4. Although we’ve been writing absolutely arseloads of songs in the last few months, we haven’t gotten together for a long stretch like this to write/practice/have riff fights since before we recorded The Great Gatsby in December, so it’s pretty exciting to be getting back on it. We’re going to be playing a rock show on the Saturday night at a new Norwich venue called Open, and MAYBE even play the new things we have done, if they are good.
In other news, we have a good old boy working day and night sticking pictures of bums onto what could be the ultimate video prop ever, an absolute titan of camera-usage stalking various libraries around the county for the artwork to the next singles, the second book club single release date mega soon, plus news on absolutely loads of tremendous extra songs and stuff for book club members. Exciting, I’m sure you’ll agree, but more about that later. Lovely job!
